The Old Stables – Self Catering Accommodation – Sleeps 6

Beautifully converted barn and stable, single storey with exposed beams and flagstones.

The Old Stables is a really spacious well designed and excellently equipped cottage that can sleep 6 people (all rooms are en-suite). An ideal rural and tranquil haven for a short break or longer holiday. Althougth “The Old Stables” is within the farm, it is set far enough away from the main workings of the farm and farmhouse to remain peaceful. Guests are welcome to stroll around the farm. We are able to provide plenty of information on walks and local attractions.

There are plenty of lovely rural walks on the farm, with a river flowing through and an abundance of wildlife. See Guide for Walkers for more information.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with family kitchen table, range style cooker, dishwasher and microwave. It is a spacious, light and airy room with double patio doors. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer plus an upright freezer.

Patio area and large enclosed garden, ideal for outdoor living. Equipped with a barbecue and table and chairs plus sun loungers.

Glass double doors leading to large lounge with lovely comfy sofas, fireplace, TV/DVD. Also a CD-player and music centre.

Calf Pen is a good sized bedroom with a super king size bed. It has double patio doors to the garden, en-suite bathroom and a colour television.

Button’s Room is a spacious twin room complete with en-suite shower and colour televsion with patio doors to the garden.

Paddy’s Room is a double bedroom witha super king size bed, en-suite shower and colour television.

The Old Stables Cottage has a private garden and lawns. There is a gravelled drive with ample parking.

Dogs are welcome to stay in the cottage.
